A lighthouse
The challenge
Academic studies sit behind journal paywalls. A community survey lives on a site no one knows about. And decision-makers rarely act on a problem they have not seen evidence of.
The solution
We gather credible research from around the world, catalogue it so it is easy to search, and make it usable for the people who act on it.
Academic papers, NGO reports, government consultations, and the grey literature that a quick Google or AI search will not turn up.
We help research travel beyond the journal and connect it to everyday life.
Short briefs, infographics and toolkits (coming soon) for the person with a meeting in an hour, an article due today, or who just wants a quick snapshot without wading through pages of research.
Who it is for
Meeting your MP at the local mosque, speaking to school board trustees, or writing to your provincial representative? Pick your role and see what you find.

A national survey of Muslim perceptions of Canada, built on the 2021 Census sample frame: 903 Muslim households, the largest sample of Muslims ever surveyed in Canada, alongside 1,072 non-Muslim households.

Dr. Salmaan Khan and William Edwards combine the 2021 Census with an original online survey (n=423) to look at work, pay and discrimination among Muslims in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
